Miracle On Highway 290

Miracles Do Happen! Here is a story of a kitten rescued from automobile traffic on Highway 290 in Manor, Texas, who was given the name Miracle. |

Brenda's (the rescuer) story... Miracle is a pretty girl, she spent all of her lives on 290 for sure. There were cars going over the top of her. I’m still not sure how she survived. It took me awhile sitting at the traffic light to turn around. There was so many cars that went past with her on the road. Truly a miracle on 290! |

Miracle's Current Status... Brenda was an angel to turn around and grab the Miracle kitty on 290. An EAC member got Miracle from Brenda and cared for her for until another member was able to take her to the vet; she is currently being cared for by other EAC members. Miracle was very distressed once the first EAC member got her; very hungry, tired and scared. It took about seven hours for Miracle to open up her personality; she loves the affectionate touch of a human hand, plays with toys and even chases her shadow! |

For a small kitten who had a very tough life so far, she quickly gained trust in humans and is quite spunky! Miracle truly is a miracle! |
